Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where are you located?
We are conveniently situated in the heart of Exeter, Devon, specifically at LashXtend, Jessica Rose Aesthetics, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS.
  • Do I need any tests before getting my lashes done?
Yes, it is highly recommended to undergo an allergy patch test two days before your appointment. This precaution ensures your safety by confirming that you are not allergic to our products, allowing you to enjoy your eyelash extensions worry-free.
  • What if my lashes fall out shortly after the appointment?
It's completely normal for some lashes to shed after getting extensions. However, if you experience a noticeable loss within the first 48 hours, don't fret! You are covered by our "2-Day Guarantee." We'll address any issues promptly and restore your lashes at no extra cost.
  • Can you remove my lashes if they were applied by another technician?
Absolutely! We can expertly remove lashes applied by another technician. If you prefer, we're also more than happy to apply a new set tailored to your desires.
  • How often should I get my infills done?
Depending on your chosen set, your extensions should last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. For best results, we generally recommend scheduling infills bi-weekly to maintain your desired look. However, the frequency of infills ultimately depends on your preference and the number of remaining lashes after each week. We're here to help you customize the perfect schedule for your needs.
  • What is the maintenance like for lash extensions?
Maintaining your lash extensions is simple. Avoid excessive exposure to water, oil-based products, and rubbing your eyes. Gentle cleansing and brushing with a clean mascara wand will keep your lashes looking their best.
  • How long does the lash application process take?
The time for your lash extension appointment may vary depending on the set and style you choose. On average, a full set typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. We want to ensure your lashes are perfect, so allow some extra time for relaxation during your appointment.
  • What is the aftercare for my lash extensions?
After getting your lash extensions, avoid getting them wet for the first 48 hours. Be gentle when cleaning your lashes and use an oil-free makeup remover. Steer clear of waterproof mascara, and refrain from using oil-based products around your eyes to prolong the life of your extensions.
